The Ozempic Litigation, Honestly Told

Two federal MDLs, no settlements yet, and real court tests ahead — find out in minutes whether your injury and records fit the current criteria.

No Ozempic or other GLP-1 lawsuit has been settled, and no court or jury has found that these medications caused anyone's injury — the litigation is ongoing, with major expert-evidence rulings still ahead. Whether any individual has a claim depends on their own medical records and the law of their state.

This ledger records every verdict and settlement in the GLP-1 injury litigation, with docket citations. As of August 7, 2026 the honest entry is: none — zero verdicts and zero settlements in MDL 3094, MDL 3163, the New Jersey MCLs, or any individual GLP-1 injury case we can identify.

No entries. This table will populate when the first verdict or settlement occurs — and not before.

Why we publish an empty table

Because the empty table is the fact. Search results for “Ozempic settlement amounts” are crowded with projections dressed as results; a dated, cited ledger that says “zero” is more useful to an injured person than a guess — and when the number changes, this page will change the same day, with the docket citation attached. What exists today instead of outcomes: consolidated pretrial proceedings, a narrowed case (failure-to-warn), a court-imposed testing requirement for gastroparesis claims, and a September 2026 expert hearing that will shape everything after it. The tracker follows those inputs; this page waits for outputs.

What “first outcomes” will probably look like

In drug MDLs, the first real numbers typically emerge from bellwether trials — test cases tried to verdict so both sides can price the rest. Neither GLP-1 MDL has scheduled bellwethers yet, which is itself a status worth knowing: this litigation has not reached the stage where outcomes are even being generated. Any figure you encounter before that stage is marketing arithmetic.

Common questions

Are there really no Ozempic settlements at all?

Correct — none, in any court, as of August 7, 2026. We searched the federal MDL dockets, JPML reports, and state proceedings before writing that sentence, and we re-verify it on every update to this page.

Didn’t I see settlement amounts advertised?

You saw projections. Some pages borrow numbers from other drugs’ litigations; others invent tiers. None trace to a GLP-1 case outcome, because no GLP-1 case has an outcome.

Will this page really be updated when something happens?

Yes — docket monitoring is automated, and outcome events update this ledger and the tracker the same day, with citations. The “Updated” date above is the audit trail.

Does zero settlements mean the cases are weak?

No — it means they are unresolved. Zero is the normal state of a mass tort before its expert-evidence gates and bellwether trials; strength or weakness will be revealed by rulings like the September 2026 hearing, not by the current absence of outcomes.

No Ozempic or other GLP-1 lawsuit has been settled, and no court or jury has found that these medications caused anyone’s injury — the litigation is ongoing, with major expert-evidence rulings still ahead and summary judgment motions pending that could dispose of entire injury categories. An empty ledger is not a forecast: these cases could still end without any recovery. Whether any individual has a claim depends on their own medical records and the law of their state.
